Eventide is seeking to hire a Senior Compliance Analyst to join and serve our dynamic organization! The Senior Compliance Analyst will enjoy an excellent opportunity to work with experienced Compliance Team members and gain knowledge across a wide range of topics. This position is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, testing, and continual improvement of Eventide’s compliance program. This position reports directly to Eventide’s Investment Compliance Director and works closely alongside two additional members of the Compliance Team and the Chief Compliance Officer.
§ Monitor portfolio compliance guidelines and restrictions and assist in new client onboarding and updates to guideline restrictions in Bloomberg AIM
§ Monitor personal trading, assist with new hire and quarterly compliance certification reviews and other compliance oversight functions, and escalate issues appropriately
§ Support preparation of regulatory filings
§ Review, approve and support oversight of portfolio management team’s expert network usage
§ Recommend updates to policies, procedures and processes
§ Perform data assessment, organization, forensic testing, and risk reviews
§ Formalize processes and procedures including for records storage and retrieval
§ Assess potential compliance matters, errors, and root cause analysis
§ Assist in compiling responses to regulatory examinations and inquiries, and independent compliance program reviews
§ Help to automate and configure systems used for monitoring portfolios, employee trading, and other core compliance areas subject to regulation
§ Evaluate and support opportunities for automation, AI, and other process improvements to help optimize the firm’s oversight of business, compliance, legal, and risk information
§ Work in close partnership within the Compliance Team to ensure that assignments align with team priorities and deadlines
§ Update and monitor the firm’s automated compliance calendar
§ Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
§ 5+ years in compliance or investment operations for an investment adviser or related service provider
§ Excellent attention to detail and with a focus on continual process improvements
§ Excellent written and oral communication skills
§ Hands-on experience with system setups, design, risk identification / mitigation, and process development
§ Experience supporting a variety of client types including mutual funds, ETFs, private funds, separately managed accounts
§ Expertise and creativity in handling data and designing spreadsheets, macros, pivot tables, and reporting solutions
§ Familiarity with systems such as Bloomberg AIM, MyComplianceOffice (“MCO”), and ISS ProxyExchange and RecoverMax
§ Excellent skills in core business applications within Microsoft Office and Google Suite
§ Intellectually curious, self-starter motivated to join Eventide’s mission to help improve society and the world through values-based investments

§ Ability to work well independently, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic and changing environment

§ Passion for and commitment to Eventide’s mission and investment philosophy; experience in values-based investments or organizations preferred
