
Investment Accounting Manager 9932
The Investment Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the accounting processes related to our investment portfolios.
Responsibilities
Manage the accounting for all investment transactions, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of investment transactions and valuations in compliance with accounting standards and firm policies.
Prepare and review investment-related financial statements, including portfolio performance reports, valuations, and investment summaries.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and investment policies.
Prepare and present reports to senior management, including insights on portfolio performance and financial projections.
Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of investment activities.
Communicate effectively with clients, auditors, and regulatory agencies regarding investment accounting matters
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA is required and CFA designation is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment accounting, with a strong understanding of investment products and financial instruments.
Proficiency in investment accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
