SpiderRock Advisors – Operations/Compliance Analyst
SpiderRock Advisors, LLC (“SRA”), headquartered in Chicago, IL, is rapidly growing technology-enabled provider of portfolio enhancement solutions to the wealth management and institutional allocator segments of the ~$80 trillion global asset management industry. SRA specializes in the design and implementation of customized derivative enhancement and overlay strategies and other alternative strategies for wealth managers and their clients. Many prominent investment advisors and have adopted the SRA platform to have access to its innovative portfolio enhancement strategies, thus driving its growth in assets under management.
SRA is actively looking for talented an Operations/Compliance Analyst who will be responsible for client onboarding and billing processes for clients and assist the Manager of Compliance in preparing due diligence questionnaires and regulatory/client reporting. Analysts will communicate with Sales, Portfolio Management, Operations and Compliance teams of both SRA and custodial partners. This is a full-time and salaried position.
· Manage the account billing processes and invoice creation, working closely with the director of operations and assistant controller
· Work with the Compliance Manager in all operational aspects of the compliance function around client and regulatory reporting
· Manage client communications around billing and collections
· Assisting the team in all operational aspects of receivables collection, while interacting with clients and custodians
· Exhibit ownership, assessment, escalation and process resolution of operational issues in a timely manner
· Manage expectations and understanding by establishing timelines and handling documentation requirements
· Display discipline in internal communication and status updates
· BA/BS Degree
· Prior experience in Compliance and/or securities operations a plus
· Ability to review and analyze information from multiple sources and determine relevancy
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Cloud Studio desired
· Independently identify issues, analyze problems and provide viable account and documentation solutions
· Manage conflict successfully
· Demonstrate creative problem-solving and solid judgment/decision-making
· Some knowledge of financial services and/or industry experience, preferably in Wealth/Asset Management
· Ability to multi-task effectively and leverage internal resources
· Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal client coverage groups
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Independent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment
· Excellent attention to detail with strong time management and organizational skills
