Job Summary
The Client Service Associate provides frontline service to firm clients including account maintenance, account related client requests, client financial planning updates and general support of portfolio and investment strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Client Service Associate can expect to focus in the following areas:
· Set up new client and additional client accounts
· Assist client in completing firm and custodian paperwork as needed
· Execute asset transfers
· Facilitate account related client requests (e.g., Moneylink journals, wire transfers, RMDs, estate matters) as directed by client
· Prepare client financial plans using the firm’s proprietary process and systems
· Perform regular office functions such as phone answering, electronic filing, FedEx requests
Qualifications
The Client Service Associate position typically requires the following qualifications at hire or to be attained during employment:
· 3+ years of full-time work experience
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
· Series 65 license preferred but not required at hire
· High level of proficiency with Schwab advisor platform and Morningstar Office
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
· Strong analytical skills
· Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask
· Client-first attitude
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
· Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment
