The Portfolio Manager in Investment Management plays a critical role in driving business, investment, and strategic performance across the firm's Venture and Joint Venture portfolio. This position is a high visibility role utilizing skills across financial and strategic analysis, project management, executive communications, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive execution of portfolio reporting operations & the completion of quarterly portfolio review processes in conjunction with Director of Investment Management
Work with internal & external partners to help execute shareholder responsibilities related to portfolio transactions (ex. follow-on investments, IPOs, exits)
Prepare portfolio updates for senior management & other business partners
Coordinate across Finance / Legal / Business Unit partners to help complete portfolio management objectives
Champion continuous improvement by identifying and helping to implement best practices in portfolio operations.
Participate in the development and maintenance of portfolio management tools, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of finance, accounting, or related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications
Strong work ethic, detail orientation and passion for excellence
Knowledge of general financial and accounting principals
Experience building and evaluating financial models
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Interest in the venture capital and start-up ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Experience at a top consultancy, investment banking, or investment management firm.
Location: Preferred working locations are Louisville, KY; Washington, DC; NYC, NY; Chicago, IL, with remote flexibility for top talent.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$114,400 - $157,300 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
