The Tax Center of Excellence (CoE) is tasked with managing global tax compliance for the organization's investment products, maintaining adherence to all relevant tax and regulatory authorities. The CoE also coordinates reclaim and relief at source operations for the global investment platform, oversees value added tax and financial transaction taxes across multiple international jurisdictions, offers guidance and technical tax support during new product launches, and administers withholding tax procedures for non-US clients. We are seeking someone with significant custody tax and/or tax advisory experience who can join us as the Vice President responsible for leading and developing a team overseeing such processes. This individual will set operational priorities, drive governance and continuous improvement, and ensure effective execution of day-to-day operations.

What you will be responsible for:
- Support tax oversight for investment products globally to help ensure accurate, timely, and efficient tax outcomes for funds and investors.
- Proactively monitor tax legislative, regulatory, and/or administrative changes and cooperate closely with relevant stakeholders to maintain robust compliance posture amidst a changing regulatory landscape.
- Design, document, and implement operational controls to support accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize tax operations and lead process improvement initiatives from design through implementation.
- Conduct global tax research and prepare written communications on tax matters affecting funds (e.g., withholding tax and capital gains tax).
- Serve as a global tax resource for Investment Operations, Portfolio Management, Relationship Management, Sales, and Product Development.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, but may consider Business, Finance, or a related field
- Master’s in Taxation and/or public accounting firm experience preferred
- 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience supporting products across the full lifecycle (launch, ongoing governance, and change management)
- Experience with digital assets and related investment products, including associated operational and tax considerations
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $188,750 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
