The Team You Will Join
Lifestyle Communities’ (LC) Investment Management team is a strategic partner for LC’s vertically integrated companies. The team specializes in underwriting, monitoring, and reporting on the organization’s performance and use of capital and has a significant role in the raising of and optimization of the company’s capital structure.
Who You Are
As the Investment Management Analyst, you will play an integral role in analyzing financial data, conducting research, and assisting in creating investment recommendations to support the Company’s various investment strategies. This role will provide an opportunity to learn and create timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting while analyzing complex business opportunities and providing actionable insights into various product offerings that influence decision making.
The Difference You Will Make
- Prepares financial analysis and modeling to include operating proformas, construction/redevelopment budgets, capital structures, cash flow forecasts and performance metrics (IRRs, multiple on equity, cash-on-cash, etc).
- Analyzes market research to understand rent and sale comps, regional demographics, and real estate fundamentals.
- Assist with the financial analysis and projections of the company’s long-term strategic operating and capital plans.
- Assist with the preparation of materials to be used with external stakeholders for reporting or capital raising efforts.
- Assists the Finance team in the preparation of materials provided to investors, financial compliance, and board materials as it relates to investment management and the established goals and objectives of the portfolio.
- Involvement in the review and analysis of historical and prospective acquisition and development deals related to NOI, Cash Flows, Capital Sources, and project specific returns.
- Builds relationships and collaborates with LC’s asset management, property management, development, construction, accounting, and finance teams.
- Assists with other ad hoc projects and analysis as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in real estate finance, investments, and development is beneficial.

Location and Travel:
This position will be based out of our Home Office in Columbus, Ohio with minimal travel to local and out of state markets.
