Arden Trust Company is seeking an accomplished investment professional to serve as Director of Investment Management. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the firm's investment management platform, leading a team of investment professionals, and providing governance and oversight of Arden Trust's delegated and outsourced investment management relationships. The Director will play a key role in shaping investment strategy, supporting business growth, and ensuring exceptional fiduciary outcomes for clients. The Director serves as Arden Trust's senior investment executive and is accountable for the overall performance, governance, compliance, and strategic direction of the company's investment management function.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop Arden Trust's Investment Management team, including performance management, mentoring, and professional development.
- Lead and develop Ardent Trust’s Special Asset Management team, responsible for oversight of alternative assets, real estate, oil and gas, and interests in privately held partnerships and corporations.
- Oversee fiduciary investment portfolios to ensure alignment with client objectives, governing documents, investment policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager and oversight officer for delegated and outsourced investment management partners, including due diligence, investment performance evaluation, strategic alignment, and service delivery.
- Provide leadership in asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, investment governance, and fiduciary risk management.
- Partner with Trust Officers, Financial Advisors, and business development teams to support client retention, attract new relationships, and grow assets under administration.
- Participate in Investment Committee activities and provide investment guidance to executive leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in investment processes, technology, reporting, and client experience.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and long-term growth objectives of Arden Trust Company.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum 15 years of investment management experience, preferably within trust, fiduciary, private wealth, or institutional investment environments.
- Experience managing direct ownership interest in real estate, oil and gas, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and closely held businesses.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing investment professionals and investment-related functions.
- Experience overseeing third-party financial advisors, investment managers, OCIO relationships, or outsourced investment solutions.
- Strong understanding of fiduciary investing, portfolio management, asset allocation, and investment governance.
- Proven success in client relationship management, business development support, and organizational leadership.
- CFA, CFP, CIMA, CAIA, or similar professional designation preferred.
